Conventional rigid grinding tools cut wherever they touch. kraflex suspends the abrasive in a flexible matrix so the tool conforms to the part — and the part keeps its dimensions.

Principle 01

The cushioned shaving effect.

Under working load the rubber matrix deflects. Each abrasive crystal is free to rotate and realign with the local surface angle, so it removes material by shaving rather than by ploughing into it.

Principle 02

Advanced floating suspension.

Abrasive is distributed uniformly through the body of the tool rather than bonded to its surface. As the tool wears, fresh crystals present themselves at the same density — so cut rate stays constant from the first pass to the last.

Premium cushioned & oil-resistant rubber matrix.

The binder is a rubber formulated specifically to survive the fluids found on a real shop floor. It does not soften, swell or break down in the presence of cutting oils and coolants.
